Are you receiving an economic stimulus payment?

Many members have been asking when they might receive their stimulus payments. The Internal Revenue Service and the Treasury Department announced on December 29, 2020 they would begin delivering a second round of Economic Impact Payments as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 to millions of Americans. The stimulus money will appear as a deposit into your bank account if you are eligible to receive the payment and have direct deposit set up for past tax refunds. Otherwise, eligible recipients can expect a physical check to be sent to the mailing address on file with the IRS.

Many of your questions can be answered by referencing the IRS website, including this page. Their site offers an online tool to provide tax filers their payment delivery dates and to help non-filers register for payments.
