About the Program
Riverfront Federal Credit Union spotlights a special organization as a community non-profit partner every three months. Funds raised during the quarter from swag sales and transaction round up donations are donated to the community partner’s cause and help to spread their message of hope and positivity throughout the community. You can help too by purchasing small items like coffee mugs and tee shirts at our branches – we’ll donate the proceeds to our quarterly partner!
2026 Fourth Quarter Community Partner – Blankets of Hope, Inc.
We sat down with founder Marc Goldstein to talk about how Blankets of Hope, Inc. got its start. The organization has donated over 110,00 blankets to date and their core mission is to ensure local shelters have access to free blankets when they need them. Marc also shared that about six years ago, they started a bed program and have since donated over 1,000 new twin beds. Listen to the latest episode of the Current to hear more.

As a community-focused credit union, Riverfront FCU is proud to support Blankets of Hope, Inc., a social support organization which uses every penny donated to purchase blankets, beds, and bedding for those in need. In the organization’s first two years, 2,000+ blankets were donated to five recipient shelters through the help of private and corporate sector donations. The organization’s founders believe that every person deserves to feel secure, be warm, and have hope.
