We’re raising money to make a difference in our community and show our support for Pennsylvania K9 Search & Rescue, the Village of Reading and the Berks Coalition to End Homelessness.
“Adopt” a piggy for this great cause and be sure to join us on Sunday, June 8th at 1pm for the official piggy bank release! The pigs will be dropped into Wyomissing Creek, at 501-547 Parkside Drive in West Reading near the tennis courts. The first piggy to cross the finish line wins.
Adults ages 18 and over can “adopt” a pig for $25. All proceeds raised from “adopting a pig” will be split between a participant’s winning pig and the three local non-profits mentioned above.
This event is family-friendly and open to the public. For each $25 donation received, a number will be assigned to a piggy, although the donor will not receive an actual plastic pig. Those who wish to claim their piggy bank must attend the event.
