About the Program
Riverfront Federal Credit Union spotlights a special organization as a community non-profit partner every three months. Funds raised during the quarter from swag sales and transaction round up donations are donated to the community partner’s cause and help to spread their message of hope and positivity throughout the community. You can help too by purchasing small items like coffee mugs and tee shirts at our branches – we’ll donate the proceeds to our quarterly partner!

Riverfront recently spoke with Ralia Vardaxis, Executive Director of the Reading Science Center, who stopped by to speak with us about the programs the organization implements to further their mission of fostering a love of Science through experiential STEM education in the greater Reading community.
The Reading Science Center
As a community-focused credit union, Riverfront FCU is proud to support the Reading Science Center. Since 2018, the Center has provided a centralized location to advance science education in the Berks community by promoting STEM careers to youth through programs offered through school districts, government agencies and other non-profit organizations.
Reading Science Center Needs Your Help
The Reading Science Center is always looking for volunteers to help share their mission of fostering a love of science through exciting and experiential STEM education.
