About the Program
Riverfront Federal Credit Union spotlights a special organization as a community non-profit partner every three months. Funds raised during the quarter from swag sales and transaction round up donations are donated to the community partner’s cause and help to spread their message of hope and positivity throughout the community. You can help too by purchasing small items like coffee mugs and tee shirts at our branches – we’ll donate the proceeds to our quarterly partner!
2025 Second Quarter Community Partner – Reading Musical Foundation (RMF)
Keri Shultz, President of the Reading Musical Foundation (RMF), stopped by to share information about the Foundation’s extensive music outreach efforts, its need-sensitive awards for private music study, instrument upgrades and their musical scholarship program. Noah Gibney, a musician and one of the Foundation’s Scholarship program recipients, also treated everyone to a short performance. You’re invited to take a listen!
The Reading Musical Foundation
As a community-focused credit union, Riverfront FCU is proud to support the Reading Musical Foundation. Incorporated in 1927, Mr. Jerre H. Barr and a group of musical enthusiasts made it their mission to provide essential community backing for Reading’s major music organizations. RMF’s Scholarship Program includes more than 60 programs available to musicians of nearly all ages and music genres. RMF strongly supports music in the schools, by the schools, and through certified music teachers employed directly by the schools.
